CranioSacral Therapist and Mindfulness Teacher
About Me . . .
I am a mother of two beautiful, strong , independent young ladies and wife to a gentle supportive man. I am also a qualified CranioSacral Therapist and Mindfulness teacher.I have been working full-time with CranioSacral Therapy since 2002. I help my clients to find relief from both physical and emotional pain. As a CranioSacral therapist with Advanced Deep Listening training I guide them towards a healthier, happier, more balanced life.
I have a passion for alternative forms of healing and previously worked as a massage therapist and yoga instructor. I first discovered CranioSacral as a patient with shoulder pain, and was so impressed with the results I investigated further and decided to train in this field. I have had great success with babies who have been unable to settle after birth, sometimes for unknown reasons. But I works with all ages - my oldest baby is 84 years young!
I constantly update my skills and love researching new material to give the very best of myself to my clients. This has led me down the path of Mindfulness as a way of Being. I have broadened my field to incorporate a qualification as a trained teacher of Mindfulness. I am passionate and dedicated when it comes to my work . I believe that " One of the connections between CranioSacral therapy and Mindfulness is that they both empower and gently guide us to take control of our own lives. It is only when we feel fully empowered that we can embrace life. That , I believe, is when we can truly learn how to Be"
My qualifications include CST-T, Yoga Diploma, Massage Diploma, Member of IACST, Advanced Deep Listening Practitioner, Cert in Palliative Care, Teacher of Mindfulness, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher and trained to teach Paws b (7-11 year old) and .b (12-18 year old) programmes with the Mindfulness in Schools Project. I am also fully compliant with GDPR, have up to date Garda Vetting.
"Awaken curiosity. It is enough to open minds. Do not overload them , put there just a spark . If there is some good flammable stuff, it will catch fire. "
